I have a psychology final tomorrow, but I can't seem to concentrate. My roommate is still asleep right now, even though it's almost 4pm. She's snoring really loudly, as usual, and the lights are off and the blinds shut, blocking out all evidence of daylight. So it seems like it is midnight right now, even though its only the afternoon. My only source of light is my lamp, so the room has the atmosphere of a dark cave right now.
Only 2 weeks left until its over! As you may know, I'm going to Houston for 2 weeks before going to Israel to see you guys and play video games and stuff my face with pudding (can you BELIEVE that this place has NO PUDDING?? The whole reason I went to college was to eat 24/7!). Can't wait to see you guys, you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to winter break :)
I can also relate to the work stress a little. My boss always has me running around doing 20 things at once, and on top of that, I'm a very clumsy person. So whenever I go to restock merchandise, I always end up dropping half of the stuff in my hands, making a huge crash, causing my boss to call tiredly "Are you okay, Juliet?" (by now, she's used to regular sounds of mayhem coming from my direction) and I call back "I'm fine, don't worry!" Apparently dropping heavy crates onto stone floors makes a louder sound than you might expect.
I'm looking for more books to read, any suggestions? All the books that I have read recently have been disappointing. Where is the character development?? And let me just say this now, in case any of you ever consider writing stories with romance in it, NEVER have more than 2 guys liking one girl at the same time. Even two is pushing it, but 3 or more is just ridiculous. I have permanent bruises on my head from repeatedly hitting it against the wall in frustration (jk, but seriously, it needs to stop).
What else? Hmm... finals are coming up, as you guys probably already know, so most people here are stressing out, only getting about 5 hours or less of sleep every night, myself included. It's funny, because everyone here is like me, only more bubbly and/or annoying, if that makes sense. Imagine a place with about 600 Juliets, all stressing over grades, all upset if they get lower than a 97. So often I hear people ask each other "Are you going to the party tonight?" and the other will respond "Nah, man, I have to study for the quiz next week", and the first guy will reply "Yeah, me too."
The reason I said that a lot of people here are the annoying version of me is because when I get a good/bad grade, I generally keep it to myself. But the girls here squeal in high pitched voices "OMG, I got a 94. A 94!!! Professor _____ is SOOOO unfair, possibly the worst professor ever." That being said, 94s are hard to come by here, since the classes are really hard, and most people walk away with final grades of Bs or sometimes Cs, but almost never all As. Everyone here is a nerd, who got straight As in high school as well as being international chess champion and raising money for the homeless, and many of these people even fail classes here, not because they didn't put in the effort, but just because the professors here love to challenge us and make it hard to earn As.
Anyway, I should probably go now, since I have a paper due and a final to study for. Also, I think my roommate is finally waking up... just kidding, she just rolled over and started making chainsaw noises again.

I CAN'T WAIT TILL YOU COME BACK SO WE CAN CRUSH YOU WITH HUGS! Work hard we believe you can do it! At least you're in a good college it's good to take on a challenge. I wish I was there just so I can take a video of you tripping at work and whenever one of us is sad we can just laugh at you tripping because that's what friends are for.

Thanks Sharona :P And I'm sure I'll love the scarf anyway, Tirtza, you don't have it in you to create anything less than amazing. And yes, I have been eating 5 pounds of rice per week. The guy in the cafeteria always asks "You just want more rice?" and I'm like "That's right, pile it on." ;)
